FROM THE HEADMISTRESS (rules & regulations)

First off, welcome to Neo Hogwarts 3.0. Whether veteran of the old, "run-down" Hogwarts 1/2 or you're a new student, you are all welcome.
The rule thread. Ah, yes... why do I even have to make these things? ~sigh~ Oh well. Here is how our "warning system" works. You get three strikes then you're out. For each rule you break, you will get a warning. Three warnings, you are banned from the RPG. If something bad you do is reeeally extreme, then I'll decide accordingly how many strikes that equals, but it most cases it is just one. And in most cases, too, you are only temporarily banned and I may invite you back to the RPG after a specified period of time. 
1. THIS IS A CLOSED RPG.
This means you must sign up first. If you would like to sign up, simply register for the board and BEFORE POSTING, send a conforums instant message to me. Then I will send you some questions in the way of a form (no personal information, just stuff about your fake character). You will then send it back, and I will either approve (in which case you may post your introduction in this forum) or I will not (in which case you can ban yourself, I'll ban you or you can wait for awhile then apply again). Please recognize that I'm not doing this to be mean, just so I can monitor all students.

Once allowed in,
2. SOLICITING OR ADVERTISING THROUGH THIS RPG IS PROHIBITED.
This means that you can not tell anyone about an RPG YOU are starting. For that matter, you cannot advertise any website or product of any type unless someone specifically asks for help with something, in which case you may suggest.

3. NO "PG-13" OR OVER COMMENTS OR THREADS.
It's as simple as that.

4. NO CURSING
Again, fairly simple. There are seven words (a-word, b-word, d-word, sh-word, p-word, h-word and f-word). All other inappropriate language falls under rule 3. Keep in mind I have many of these words censored, so seven stars will show up in the place of a word you have said that is censored.

5. NO COMPLAINING, REBELLIONS, ETCETERA.
For the peace of this board, you may not lead a rebel against anyone. Disagreeing is allowed, of course, but I don't want anyone's feelings hurt and things often get out of hand in a rebellion. Thanks.

I can, at any time, add another rule. It is PERFECTLY FAIR if I create a rule after somebody has already "broken" it (and I decide it should not be permitted). This is the way we learn. No warnings will be given unless the act was cruel or extreme and you can consider it a favor of showing us something we overlooked.
PS: If someone has said something to annoy or hurt you that we cannot see or we overlooked, please tell us. We'll be more than happy to look into it and, if necessary, take action.
PSS: If you want to be a teacher or head student or prefect, please do tell! I'll need quite a few prefects, as well as head children. And ghosts, if the role so suits you. Only volunteer, though, if you're willing to commit yourself for 15 or so minutes at least out of every day.
